In this class, we’ll explore how to paint expressive and structured tulips using watercolor. You’ll learn how specific brushstrokes and techniques create interest, movement, and layered depth, resulting in lively, painterly florals. Throughout the session, we’ll focus on watercolor fundamentals such as water and brush control, work with both wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry techniques, practice drawing transfer and gestural painting, and develop expressive brush marks that beautifully suggest tulip petals. All professional supplies are included, and free parking is available behind the shop.
